Our 2009 kitesurfing season kicked off from a new surf destination somewhere in West Java of Indonesia.  Although it was a well established surf spot, it was a completely new place for kitesurf. The superb surf was there, teasing us to get it, but we needed wind. So our adventure started off in search for this wind and surf combination. Chartered boat the first day ended launching from boat, not a good idea with off shore 20 knots wind. Somehow we managed with lots of helping hands from the Indo boat boys. The perfect reef break was so huge there were guys doing towsurfing! But the wind was off shore, as a result we ended up doing freestyle near our cursing boat. Second day was driving off early and for hours, we went searching for wind and surf. At the end, we scored some nice beach break with 7sqm and 9sqm condition... gallery from the trip here

Our yearly kitesurfing adventure at a secret epic surf destination of Indonesia continued from where we left off last year. however, due to some other development, we only made it towards the end of Oct 2008. As it was toward the end of the season, the surf was not as big and the wind was not as epic. Nevertheless, we still have had a few days of fun.

Our last kitesurfing adventure at a secret epic surf destination of Indonesia in the early Sept was so good we have decided to do a second trip at the end of Sept. It was a last minute arranged trip only for the selected few. As it turned out, the surf was not as big during the few days we were there, however, we still have had lots of fun. And the buzz words during the trip was UNHOOKED. Coming down the waves unhooked gave you so much more freedom in executing your bottom turns. And guess what, it looked cool....

Our latest kitesurfing adventure was at a secret epic surf destination of Indonesia in the early Sept. It was the time of the year that we live our dream of clean glassy, up to double man height waves with constant 7m, 9m side-on shore wind. Jason Chiang, Lawrence Ng, Bee Choo, Kunto Pitkonen, Alvin Tan, Paul Riddle, Greg Plunkett and Neil all managed to have up to 6 days of epic encounter with various breaks. The refreshing smell of the reef and the thundering sound of the breaks at this secret surf spot have inspired us so much that we have decided to completely redo our old and dated website.
